Excellent experience. The food was everything I expected and more. I started off with an old fashion. It was made to perfection with an orange peal and all. The entire table got water and the water guy never let any glass go empty.
Food: I started with the Lobster Bisque. So creamy and full of flavor. The little chunks of lobster hidden inside were flavorful and cooked to perfection.
The table also had an order of the Sourdough Bread/Garlic Bread. It was a nice portion but there were 7 of us...and one order was not quite enough. The garlic bread was to die for. And the Sourdough was equally tasty.
My husband and I opted for the 2.5 lb Porterhouse. We asked for it to be Medium Well and it came out cooked exactly as we ordered. It was a little funny when the food started arriving...everyone else was receiving their steaks on plates with some green salad and carrots...my husband and I got empty plates with the small salad and carrots. It was a little funny. Then the waiter came...with a huge Thanksgiving sized platter that carried our 2.5 pounds of goodness. The Porterhouse was one portion New York Steak and one portion Filet Mignon. A perfect size for two...maybe even three. As a table we ordered several sides which we all ended up sharing because they were huge!!!! Mac n Cheese, Truffel Mac n Cheese (the best), Lobster Mashed Potatoes (SOOO Good), Sugard Snap Peas (I heard they were good lol), Asparagus, Scalloped Potatoes. It was great to be able to try more than one side. So glad we all had different sides.
Ok so when we ordered our meals we were told that if we wanted a souflee for a dessert that it'd have to be ordered then. And that one was big enough to share. We ordered 2... the Chocolate one and the Grand Marnier. They were each the size of a small birthday cake for 4 lol. Needless to say they were both demolished and so so so good. They were served with a side of cream.
Dinner for 7...$667...well worth it.
P.s....I also tried the drink called "Grounds for Divorce"...a must try! The ice cube is insane.
The absolute BEST the steak 🥩 rib eye was so tender and the king crab legs were so tasty with the lobster Mashed potatoes were on point. Definitely will be back this was our 1st time going there. Oh the pork belly appetizer was so flavorful. This is by far the best steak house in CALIFORNIA
