Friendly, and amazing food. Tried their Glazed Apple Pizza for the first time and loved it. I was hesitant at first being that I had never had apples on my pizza but I'm glad I tried it.
The lunch combo is great for 6.50 you get a large slice of seriously good pizza, a salad (choice of 3 different types Caesar, house, pasta) , and drink. The only thing that made it a 4 instead of 5 is wish their house salad had more veggys besides lettuce. But like I said the pizza is seriously good and doesn't look like it has been sitting there for 3 hours
I have written before about where to get a good, honest breakfast. Most of the joints I've mentioned have faded into history, but my newest discovery is Cafe Z, where they chop up a fresh heart healthy egg bowl or Spanish or Mediterranean omelette. It's a humble, quiet little place with a big menu and a big heart on one-way Union Street.
They also offer a variety of salads, all of them hearty, filling and, above all good and fresh.
Easy Parking!
If you're coming from West of Lake, go East on Walnut, turn South on Mentor, then turn West on Union. They have plenty of street parking and a lot.
Prices:
The prices are the same as some other local places where they lay out slip from #10 cans from Smart and Final. At Z Cafe, the vegetables are fresh and bought by someone with a good eye.
