We came on a Saturday night. We asked for a table for two and we’re told that the main dining room was full of reservations so we couldn’t sit in it. The bar was open seating and there was plenty of available seating. We ordered 2 premium frozen margaritas and some queso with chicharrones. The margaritas were very delicious but we couldn’t help notice they left about a good 3/4” of empty glass at the top. I suppose that could be because of them being served in martini glasses but that’s at least an ounce of two that you loose. The queso was also good but very runny. We then ordered the SRF Wagyu beef fajitas and added the chipotle butter. We asked for it to come out on a cold plate and not a hot one but they forgot. The waiter went and transferred them over when we told him. I posted a photo of them on this review. I was crying on the inside on how well done the majority of the beef was. I saw a table in the main dining with beautiful red center beef fajitas and was hoping for the same but it was not. Perhaps that was a different menu item. Not sure. The chipotle butter was a $4 add-on and didn’t really taste that great in my opinion. I’d much rather prefer some traditional Mexican butter as included free in local Tex mex restaurants. The oversized plate of guac cheese and sour cream that was included was nice as sometimes that is an up charge. We swapped the beans out for some mixed veggies however the waiter neglected to inform us of the additional $3 up charge for this. We frequent other local Pearland Tex-Mex restaurants about 1-2x a week and this was our first time trying this one. The food service was great but overall I’ll stick with our “original” spots. When we left my wife and I both commented that the main dining room never filled up halfway even though we were told the tables were all reserved.

1st visit on 11/8 with daughter, arrived apparently after the happy hour rush. The place was practically empty and open tables available. First, being PR the music was 100% salsa and meringue. Eric was our waiter. Personable and attitude was positive. We asked for suggestions and received some to make our experience a good one. He gave us a sample of a margarita but I found it to sweet. Our drinks were actually great. Anyway, we ordered the mix fajitas for 2 as Wednesday is fajita special night. I’m not a big fan of beef but I do have a fav at another location but the fajitas were good. The queso with some beef as a complimentary on house was delicious. Would we go again yes, but I will only do drinks and queso with meat. The ambience and music I enjoyed
Great food and great service. Our server (Jojo) was wonderful and sweet. Everything, from the appetizers to the birthday sopapillas, were delicious. Their chips and salsa were so good too. Can't wait to go back and try more things!
Great food, great vibes, great atmosphere. Fair warning, don’t expect this to be a quick dining experience. It takes some time to get your drinks and food, but overall it’s worth the wait. The one caveat to my experience here, is it doesn’t smell the greatest when you walk in. You get used to it, but just a warning.
We always dine in on Wednesdays when they have the fajitas for 2 for $25. Extremely good deal and delicious food. It comes with a mix of chicken and beef and you are able to choose your style of beans. We always choose charro which are fabulous. This last time we went we tried the elote corn appetizer which was delicious but very filling. I highly recommend splitting with more than 2 people.
I am a fan of the Killen's chain of restaurants and this genre did not disappoint! I usually try not to indulge in chips and salsa, but I found myself unable to stop eating it! And the margaritas are perfect: potent but not too sweet! The menu is somewhat limited as they have not yet had a grand opening, but the options are good. I had seafood enchiladas and they were excellent! I was very impressed by the flavor pallet! I'm already planning my next trip back!
Very friendly and attentive staff!! Food came out quickly. Salsa and chips delightful! The only 2 things were that the queso was slightly thin but could've been due to how hot it was. The flavor was on point, though! The Charro Beans needed salt. But nothing took away from the overall great experience!!
I know that this is a strange thing to say, and some might even consider it gross, but Killen's TMX is so good that I even enjoy the burps afterwards. The staff is consistently friendly, competent, and fast. We've never had a bad experience there, and we're there so much that they remember us and our gluten allergies. I'd eat there every day if I was okay with foregoing pants and just wore a circus tent. But I'm not, so we're there probably two or three times a month.
While the location could be improved (not well noticed from the street) and frequent AC issues can make it an uncomfortable experience the food has always been top notch! I usually order the crispy tacos (but for a while was able to order their version of the Mexican Pizza) because this place takes the flavor up a notch on just a basic taco. The service is always top notch too, we love Rylee and try to get her section whenever we come in.
First time trying Killen's TMX, and our family loved it! The highlight of the show is the brisket tamales. The smokiness from the bbq brisket and kick from pico mixed with cheesy goodness and the sweetness of the corn is worth a weekly trip to indulge! Runner up dish was the creamed corn empanadas. Talk about flavors dancing! Yum!
First time here and this visit made them the best Mexican in Pearland (for our party). Far from generic with plenty of options, many of which aren't common. I'll definitely go back again. I had the TMX Trio and my S-I-L had the chicken enchiladas. Both were excellent. I had the tres leches bread pudding to go - awesome and I'm a marginal bread pudding fan 🙂
Awesome Tex-Mex restaurant with great service! Fajita Killen’s is a must-try! Fish tacos were great too, especially the fried fish taco. They nailed the crispiness on that.
We went here on a whim looking to try a new brunch place in Pearland. The breakfast tacos are 10/10. chips and salsa delicious. friendly and attentive staff. we had a great experience. Would definitely come back for brunch or dinner.
My husband and I went to eat dinner and our waiter Preston was very knowledgeable about the food and answered any questions we had.
He had one of the best sense of humor’s we have encountered, and really enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely be back.
Our servers name was Story like the book! He was awesome. Drinks were pretty strong. Of course I loved em! I had the vaca plate. It taste like their bbq restaurant had a strong influence. The brisket enchiladas are great. I highly recommend this place but note that it's more of a bbq fusion tex mex!
I have heard great things about this place and man were my friends right! The food was perfect after working all day, and the service was even better. My bartender Preston made of of the best rum and cokes I have had! 10/10
