We had an enjoyable meal! The waiter was very kind. We came here because it’s our friends favorite pizza in the city. The pizza was good, although it’s not my favorite style. We were 4 people and had 3 pies, which was the perfect amount. The pizza is very very thin so it’s not as much as you think. It was on the expensive side for what you get. We got a white pie, a red pie (standard cheese) and a margarita. You have to make a reservation to reserve your dough balls because they only make a limited number per day.

Wow! This place is very unique and totally old-school. Unique in that their pizzas are super-thin crust, made to order from scratch which usually requires reservations days in advance. So order 2X of what you normally eat … you will want seconds! We had a pickup order pending but made a decision on the spot to sit down and try a pie while there and they accommodated us, including an impromptu request for a 2nd pie to eat-in. Note: you cannot hurry quality so be prepared to wait, especially if walking in w/ out a reservation. That said, both of our pies were delivered faster than the wait times quoted once we sat down. Old school in that there is open seating and no hostess station. But once you get a table, servers swarmed all over us and never let our beverages run dry. Oh, and it’s BYOB if you want alcohol with your pizza.

I love it here. The pizza is the best around! Always hot & crispy thin crust. I can easily eat 1 pie to myself. My daughter is 8 months and just tried her first pizza here! We checked out the private party space & we are definitely having her 1st birthday here. This is going to be our new family tradition. Pizza Fridays!

There is just something about this location that I always find nostalgic. I love catching a glimpse of the oven and watching them maneuver the pies around. Being here this time for a party was a different experience as the pies brought out were random but such a great way to do it as I was able to have a little of everything and even tried some I may not have ordered. Everything served was absolutely delicious, especially the tomato and spinach pie. Soooooo good! On a side note, this was a pretty good space for a small party or gathering of friends. Bring your own beer and desserts!

Came here with a group and they were very friendly and accommodating! The service was great, they were very helpful and there were so many choices/options. they brought out a couple pizzas at a time until we were done which was a great way for each of us to try a bit of everything. The pizza was delicious, although I was not a fan of the crust as it was quite dry.

It's the real-deal, old-school Philly corner pizza joint that's been making the best crispy crust pizzas for ever in an original brick wood-fired oven. Looking for high-end pretension? Don't come here. Like thick, doughy pizza? Skip it. But if you like it perfectly cooked and crispy and authentic, this is the jawn.

for me, this is the gold-standard of pizza. light on the cheese, heavy on sauce, thin, and well-done from the brick oven. the crust of the white pie is incredibly flavorful. cash only, old school family run for 5 generations & BYOB.

First you have to call in advance and reserve your dough and it's cash only. You are welcome to bring beer and wine. We ordered 4 pies, one tomato, one white with have tomato topping, a plain regular pie and one regular pie half sausage, half pepperoni. I thought the plain regular pie was best all were great. Can't wait to go back.

Wow. Thanks for keeping your quality control spot on. We got 6 pies 3/4 cooked to go. Car drop service was fantastic and when we got home 10 minutes more in the oven and perfection. Everyone ate and everyone said fantastic. Thanks Again.

Fantastic. We ordered a white pie with spinach and half tomato, and a Margherita pie. The crust was crispy and well done in a good way, the balance of their nice sauce and toppings and cheese was great. I’m not the hugest fan of super well done crust, but this was done right. Service was great. Atmosphere is perfect American pizza parlor. BYOB. Cash only with a $2 fee ATM on site. Would definitely go out of my way to come back.

11 adults (6 guys, 5 girls) 7 children under the age of 5 (only 4 eating pizza) 10 pizzas...only 3 slices survived!!! Such a great atmosphere and experience that is worth every penny. The pizza tally was 2 house specials, 2 plain margherita, 2 sausage and sweet pepper, 1 white proscuitto & basil, 1 pepperoni & mush, 1 pepperoni & onion, and 1 sausage and onion. I havent been back to the area in a few years so it was great for catch up with good friends and it's great this place is BYOB! The thin crunch crust pairs great with high quality toppings and wonderful sweet but not too sweet red sauce. Very unique pizza and a must for pizza lovers.

Good, not great, Philadelphia pizza institution. Cash only and you need to call ahead your pizza reservation. We had no issues getting an early-ish reservation same-day midweek. Pizza is very saucy. Crust is thin and crispy. The pizza was enjoyable but did not live up to the the hype. Just a word of caution the neighborhood was eerily desolate when we visited.

Ive been going to Taconelli’s for years. Same great pizza every time. Love the white spinach and tomato pie. Super thin crispy crust! Absolutely delicious!

Old school real pizza, the pizza was amazing!! You wont find better in the area, so dont even look!! Service was great. Prices are very reasonable. Will be going back (again and again and again).
