Definitely a unique experience! Our friend told us about this when it was Portofino (?) but we never had a chance to visit. We were expecting amazing Italian cuisine, which we certainly received! The restaurant is under a different name, but we learned from our server that Anthony was a chef for Portofino for many years. We started at the bar, with a couple awesome Old Fashioned rounds from their specialty cocktail menu and had to get a second order of the clams casino (cant remember the italian name on the menu) because they were so good. We had no idea the servers provided live entertainment until we saw our waitress jump onto stage... The whole wait-staff is extremely talented and provided a wide range of songs. The lady playing the piano sang by herself sometimes and was just as talented, and played more loungy, down-tempo songs like an intermission. Food came out extremely quickly, considering how busy it was, and it was delicious! The gnocchi (made in house) were different than what I'm used to, but so good, I asked for more bread to sop up the gravy. As we were leaving, we found out the restaurant now "transforms" into a nightclub after dinner on the weekends. We didn't stay long for the club, but the room seemed to fill up with great energy in a matter of minutes. Will DEFINITELY be stopping by again next time we are in the city!
