Worthy of a post-exam celebration lunch! We had a group of 12 walk in after our exam. Outdoor seating was well decorated and enjoyable for the occasion. Food was great - especially all the types of dips. Pita that came out with the dips were soft and fresh, which was a fantastic way to start off the meal. Main meals came out without much wait, and all of them were great eye pleasers as much as they were tasty! If I were to be picky, the fried chicken was a little dry, but not a big deal. Chef/owner of the restaurant came out to greet us because we were a bigger group, which made the experience a little more special. In general, a hidden gem in the U-city area that's worth a visit.

Found this googling after my Daughter moved to Philly, and looked like a sweet spot. In fact it is amazing. Beautiful interior and exterior. Due to the fact it was a gorgeous November day, we had some appetizers and cocktails on the patio. Place was hopping, both because it clearly has a good reputation plus it's a couple blocks from Upenn. Claudia was our server and she was the sweetest. We had some ricotta dish that I can't remember how to spell, Baba Ganouj, and roasted Cauliflower with tahini. The cocktails were solid, and decently priced around $10. The Baba Ganouj was so delicious I can't accurately make you understand it. What really set the place apart was the friendliness of the staff, combined with tasty tasty small plates. I will definitely return for a larger meal.

A Staple of West Philly. Renata’s kitchen is a beautiful spot on Baltimore Ave located just a few blocks from Clark Park. Plenty of parking, we didn’t have any difficulties finding a spot. I loved the art, the gorgeous colored tile work and the bar is very nice. Ambiance and Seating are fantastic and the food is superb!!! The service was marvelous, our drinks and food was out in no time. We ordered hummus, baba, the pita was so warm and soft. The wings are tasty, meaty and very satisfying. The chicken sandwich was just as amazing. My husbands shakshuka was verrry good. Taste and texture was good, very filling. The bathroom is unisex and has a changing table for babies. There is an upstairs portion but I didn’t have a chance to adventure up that way. Music and good vibes all around. There is outdoor seating and it is directly next to the trolley stop.
