The food was tasty the service was professional and the restaurant was clean.
Four-piece fried chicken combo. Chicken was the perfect balance of hot, but not too hot, and crunchy on the outside, but not too crunchy.
I went with a mix of dark and light meat so I could try both, but I would suggest you get a full-order of dark. I know that light meat is, “healthier,” but you’re eating fried chicken, so you’ve kind of thrown health out the window by this point. The meat was juicy and the spice was present but not strong enough to make it uncomfortable. I went with the mashed potatoes as the side dish, Popeyes’ mashed potatoes are a little bit different than your typical mashed potatoes, as the gravy is a brown gravy with cajun spices in it. ImI really like the flavor and uniqueness that the cajun gravy provides.
The fried chicken here are really delicious!!! It's my favorite place if I'm craving for fried chicken!
However, the wait time was a bit long for the drive-thru. I had to wait for 15 minutes today to place my order and another 8 minutes to get my chicken. I'm not sure whether it's because during this Covid time, there are still a great shortage of workers in all the fields. I had to wait for about 30 minutes last time for the drive- through order 3 weeks ago.
