Out with family

Have visited here many times, brother in law loves the fish fry, it is good but I do not eat fried fish so normally I get a sandwich but last night I noticed they had GRILLED Haddock so I ordered it. Large portion seasoned and cooked to perfection. I was very pleased to see the grilled fish and will definitely be back.

Unfortunately the AC went out but we got through it and as we were leaving the AC came back on.

Their reputation for a great fish fry is well founded: light batter and succulent fleshy cod that kept coming via the very attentive server Ethan as I kept eating. The strange thing was that the shapes and darkness of the coating changed with each refill yet they were all good. My friend got the Build a Burger and enjoyed it. I initially had a problem with my discount, but a manager straightened it out. Mother Road draft beer was the perfect accompaniment to the meal and to sip on while looking around at the taxidermied critters and nostalgic items like the model of Budweiser's Clydesdales.

Great little neighborhood bar and grill with friendly staff and good food. Nice menu with a good selection of appetizers, burgers , salads, and seafood . The portions and prices are reasonable. The beer is inexpensive. The atmosphere is dark and is a little bit divey. They also have a patio, daily food, and drink specials. Currently, there is a Groupon available to save 40-50 % off and good for food and drinks.
