We were only in town for the weekend for a baseball game at Chase Field. A friend told us not to leave Phoenix without trying State 48 Brewery. So, we checked out of our hotel a little early and headed to the brewery before going to the airport.
I am so glad that we did. It was really early so they weren't super busy yet. We were greeted by a wonderful young lady. She was pleasant and friendly, We actually sat and chatted with the staff while we tried a few of the local beers. They were fun, knowledgable about their beer and great to talk to.
This place has beautifully painted walls that any art lover will appreciate. The building appears old and it has an amazing vibe. There are many, many great beers to choose from so it's worth it go get a flight (or two). Try the sour! It made me want to miss my flight.
Our only regret is that we didn't go here sooner. We would have liked to have had more time to sit, have a good beer, order a meal and hang out.
This is a great place with great staff AND really great beer!
Work down the road from here and didn’t know until recently that this place was here. Food is freakin amazing and so are the beers. They have a killer happy hour and would be good for a team happy hour or happy hour with friends.
I ordered the beer cheesesteak and it was so delicious. The cheese was on the side for me. The beer pictured is one of their sours, also so tasty! They have so many beers to try and I can’t wait or come back.
It wasn’t top pack, great service as well. Overall, amazing experience!
The beer and food were both amazing. Had the fish and chips and they were perfectly done, no seasoning or condiments needed.
When it comes to beer, I highly recommend the Suncast Hazy IPA, Sound of Freedom IPA and the H£ll Bi+ch Belgian Tripel. Super friendly staff.
