This is a perfect hidden gem for delicious Tunisian food. I never tried it before. The owners are very welcoming and nice people. I tried chicken shawarma the first time with my colleague and loved it. The spices are just perfect to leave your taste buds with authentic homemade food. I went back within couple days to try something new and am just blown away with the lamb sausage (merguez) dish. It came with fresh bread. I am very much in love with this restaurant and will try all the items in their menu in coming days. Thumbs up!!!
My first time having Tunisian food and I was definitely not disappointed. Owner is a very nice and sweet woman. Always making sure my friend and I were happy. Great service and great food!!!! Will definitely go back again!!!
This is exactly the kind of restaurant Phoenix badly needs: good, unpretentious, comforting food, from a region that, as far as I know, isn't represented anywhere else in Arizona. It's inside a crappy strip mall in a part of town I would rather stay away from (no offense to the West Valley), but that just means the rent is low. I got the lamb couscous and suggest you also get something with couscous, because it is fluffy and delicious and sits in your stomach happily. The lamb was tender and the salad that came with it was simple and refreshing (there was also way too much of everything, but I ate it all anyways). My wife's chicken dish was also grilled perfectly. The rosewater and almond drinks were weirdly pleasant to my Western palate. I hope to come here many times and try everything else (they have shwarma, for instance). Please support them, not out of guilt for another fledgling ethnic restaurant (although God knows we should have more of them) but because it is simply excellent food.
