My husband & I truly enjoyed our evening on the patio last night: it was a perfect summer evening, and very relaxing. out server, Jordan, was great, attentive but not hovering (although she kept apologizing -- we told her we were fine!), and took wonderful care of us all night. We ordered the sampler starter, highly recommend! -- and made the mistake of also getting additional entrees -- it was too much food! The southwestern spring rolls and bruschetta were amazing! I found the chicken tenders and wings a bit spicy, but he liked them. The Caesar salad was unremarkable except for the shaved cheese & those incredible homemade croutons: HUGE chunks of seasoned bread that were beyond good! His Guiness & Jameson burger with beer cheese sauce was delicious, too! But mostly we simply relaxed and had drinks while watching the excellent music & light show at Bessemer Court. We will definitely be back!
I've eaten at many Hard Rock Cafes in major cities all over the country (LA, Bmore, Philly, Chi, NYC to name a few) and this one is consistently not only the best of all the Hard Rock Cafes, but also is one of the best affordable restaurants in Pittsburgh. Service is good, I've gotten seated quickly even on a game night, and the atmosphere, especially in the outdoor seating, is amazing. Housed in the trendy and family friendly/fun for all ages Station Square area of The 'Burgh, outdoor seating faces Station Sq's dancing fountain music show--with lights at night--that is spectacular and free to watch. The Hard Rock Pittsburgh is a fairly new HRC so there is not as much memorabilia and what is there is generally more modern. However, they get some great bands to their stage and last night my family and I ate outdoors and enjoyed the fountain show and stepped inside for a few minutes to watch the live music on their stage. The food is excellent here and I know they are making an effort to use more locally-sourced meats. On a previous visit, I had one of the best steaks here ever and last night I had something very simple comparatively: the southwestern chicken flatbread... and it was excellent! Highly recommended for food, atmosphere, and service, and that's why HRC Pitt has earned my five stars.
we took our 6yr old to her first steelers game for her birthday and stopped at the hard rock before heading to the great wolf lodge as her second surprise...we did not think this experience at the hard rock would be so amazing. The food was great,,we love trying wings where ever we go!..she got a guitar shaped plate that she laughed at..i think we got the best waitress Ashley who went above and beyond making her meal memorable..she treated Payton like royalty with so mauch attention and then a ice cream sundae and the place wished Payton happy birthday!! Payton is staill talking about this! I hope the staff their knows what a difference they make in a dining experience just by being nice attentive and making a little girl feel so special. Thanks again Ashley and staff at Pittsburgh Hard Rock !!!
