Cozy spot for a decent cup of coffee. I was really impressed with the comfort and the seating. It was a perfect spot to have a good conversation with a friend.
The yogurt bar was also a nice plus. Although rather expensive, $8 for a yogurt bowl, you could pick any toppings you want, and all toppings were fresh.
If I lived in the area, I would likely frequent more often, most likely do work there with the comfort and the ample space.
This has to be one of the most consistent shops in Pittsburgh when it comes to espresso drinks.
I’ve been visiting Big Dog for years now and it’s always a great experience with tasty espresso. Outdoor seating is one of my favorites along with the gas-lit fireplace in the fall/winter. One of the coziest shops on the South Side.
Such a cute cafe!! Love that there is outside seating. Went one early morning, and had a nice cappuccino and oatmeal combo. Their oatmeal bag is so neat and customizable. Lots of options and the pastries were also very good. The pb cookie was soft and had a nice nuttiness too it. The people working there are also very friendly and give you good recommendations. A nice play to study or just relax.
