I did my taste buds a great disservice by only stopping in once in the year and some change that I've lived on Troy Hill before this week.
While I thought this place was great the first time, now that I've been to Thursday burger night and enjoyed a breakfast sandwich and coffee, I feel qualified to give this place a confident 5 stars.
-The atmosphere is great. Lots of natural light, and a friendly, enthusiastic staff.
-I had a turkey sub on my first visit several months ago. Fresh bread and tons of meat. I'm a fan of big portions when I eat, and the sub did not disappoint.
-The burgers at burger night were incredible! I can easily see why everyone has been singing their praises. No frills or gimmicks as seems to be the trend these days, just a perfectly cooked party, buttery toasted bun, and a nice selection of toppings.
-Breakfast sandwiches! This might have to be my new weekend breakfast spot. I got the sausage egg and cheddar sandwich. I don't eat breakfast sandwiches to be healthy, and that's a good thing, because this was a nice sized sandwich with loads of buttery goodness. Everything was cooked to perfection, and to be honest, I was a little sad once I finished it.
This is definitely going to be one of my regular food stops up here on the hill!
Great coffee shop space with a full kitchen. Right now they have a breakfast and lunch menu. Feels like a coffee shop at the beach. Light and Airy.
Great place for so many things! Quiet time alone doing work or just drinking great coffee and eating delicious breakfast sandwiches, great meeting place for business or friends, inviting space for kids (with some toys for them too). Excellent, friendly service and high-quality food. And it's always fun to see what kind of different food events that the owners dream up!
