Biked here with a couple of my buddies and had breakfast here. We arrived around 9:30a and were able to get a table outside. I got the waffle with two eggs over easy with sausage. It was good. My friends both got an egg scramble and really liked theirs. A bummer of being outside were the pesky hornets that kept buzzing us but other diners at other tables had it worse. Sitting inside was not really an option as the place is tiny.

One of the best breakfast spots in Portland. Charming staff, great value for money, and just quaint, cozy, and welcoming. So happy to have Bertie Lou’s in the neighborhood! … scratch that… so happy to be in Bertie Lou’s neighborhood! :)

Must go!!! Breakfast, brunch/ lunch restaurant!! Absolutely heartwarming staff! Fantastic, home-cooked food! Reasonable prices and portions of food! Fun loving neighborhood!
