Pretty good local pizzeria with classic favorites and nee combos. It’s nice to have options by the slice.
It’s a shame they’re only in Portland - this location on Burnside is in the middle of the homeless/druggie disaster area. The staff is nice enough, but of course they have the classic downtown “too cool for you” vibe. But the pizza tastes good, so I recommend you try it out.
The patio concept is nice in theory, but the homeless wildlife is just distracting.
I love this place. Ordered was the regular cheese slice, pepperoni slice, a white slice and garlic knots. Also ordered was a Avid- pineapple mango cider. Everything was delicious. The pizza was thin and crispy. The white slice was a little thicker for it's toppings. It was good. The only thing I was not a fan of was the whole cloves of garlic, but everything else was great. This location has inside and outside seating. Inside is kind of small, and plays heavy metal music. Outside offered quiet but was a little awkward with the trash bins and cart to collect dishes so close by the seating. Also one of the picnic tables had rather large pizza crusts sitting on the bench. But a cool spot to grab a slice and chill on a nice day!
ya know, this was my first taste of west coast pizza (I’m from Chicago) and so the expectations were in the ground. I came randomly, but left pleasantly surprised. The service was great, the slices were kinda expensive (I thought a lot of things were in Portland, though). But the pizza was pretty damn good. I saw others get salad on the side that looked really good, so if I ever come back I’d def get that. Would recommend!
