07/28/18: 4.5 out 5 - Came here after running with my Saturday Run Group. Luckily, we got here before the rush.
La Luna has interesting feel about it. Looks very clean and practical. Great seating arrangement and layout.
The food was good. Moderately priced and modest serving, but it would seem just right amount of portion.
My only gripe would be that I was not a fan of the coffee. A little bitter, possibly medium roast. Hopefully, La Luna chooses to provided a dark roast selection along with the medium roast.
The group and I would definitely return to try the other dishes. If ever in the neighborhood or looking for a good breakfast/brunch, give La Luna a try and decide for yourself.
Enjoy!
Pretty solid coffee, and very, very good biscuits and gravy. The Irish Benny is also fantastic. One of the better brunches I’ve had in a bit. They’ve got smoothies, and sweet foods too, but I’m a savory lady. No wait when I came, and it’s counter service, which keeps things moving.
This was easily our favorite spot for food during out visit to Portland. The service was phenomenal. Everyone who works at La Luna was very friendly and the food was simply amazing! We had the Irish Benedict which was very good and also the Classic Breakfast with sausage links and a side of bacon, all of which was very good as well. The potatoes and biscuit were both amazing! I highly recommend stopping by La Luna if you’re local or just passing through Portland.
