Pretty good and cheap eats downtown. The burger was made well and the fries were crispy and delicious. The shake was pretty good as well.
My only two complaints were the amount of sauce put on the burger (way too much, in my opinion.) and the chili I got on my chili-cheese fries. (Just the normal chili, not the veggie chili. I didn't try the veggie kind, so it may be amazing.)
It tasted like it came from a can - it just tasted kinda off. I ended up just eating around it.
Still, those are two minor nitpicks about a generally great place. Would still definitely come back!
First time visit today. Two of us had Cheeseburgers and one had a BLT. Two with Fries One with Tots. Two soft drinks and one Milkshake. All was great. Surface was super and food was excellent. The sauce they use on the burgers is great, no need for additional ketchup or mustard. The Tots were a nice surprise, fried perfectly. My Coke was mixed perfectly and the report on the seasonal shake was very good. While this was our first visit it will not be our last. Thanks for the great experience...
In a sea of sandwiches, Joe's stood out as our hamburger salvation. The food was fairly inexpensive (for downtown Portland), quick and delicious. I had the guacamole bacon cheeseburger, my daughter had the Cowboy burger (both of which were fresh and juicy) and we split an order of sweet potato fries that were the best I've ever had: crisp, lightly salted, and you could really taste the sweet potato. Friendly, courteous, and accommodating staff, and clean interior. We'll be back :)
