Great food and service! Happy hour is everyday and runs till 6pm. We spent $40 for our meals and that included 2 beers and 2 margariras! This place is hidden in the back but well worth a try if you're in the area.
I hesitate to even comment about this hidden gem. I don't want the crowds to converge... Somehow, there was a table available the moment we walked in. The service was prompt and friendly, and 4 adults ate until we couldn't move and had significant leftovers for $56, and everything was delicious!
We had the huge nachos, which consists of a whole bag of chips, 2 lbs of ground beef, an entire bag of shredded cheese, a can of salsa, a can of jalapeños, 6 Oz of sour cream, and a whole tomato. One can only assume the goal is to lose money, because the ingredients alone are worth more than we paid. The chef's salad is bigger than the one I made for Thanksgiving, and a bowl of clam chowder is basically a whole batch from a typical recipe.
The chicken quesadillas contain a whole breast, and let me say, it's delicious! I may never eat again. Everyone had a soda or beer and we still stayed under $60? Come on! If management finds out about it, the staff will be canned & prices doubled. (It will still be a deal, though.)
I accidentally left my jacket here. When I came back a few days later it was here and so was everything in it! ( I had very valuable stuff in the pockets) I was impressed with the staff and patrons.
