Stick with a hot gluten-free sandwich when you enjoy lunch at Attmans, the Triple Decker is well worth the add-on fee. We both chose the corn beef base, our hot sandwich added brisket (outstanding) and the cold sandwich was a roast beef secondary (ok). Chose the Cole slaw as a good GF side, our Old Bay fries were lackluster and most likely fried in the same oil as breaded entrees or sides.

My first time here ... but not my last. Excellent bakery and deli counter upon entry. Small grilled Reuben pastrami and corned beef with Swiss and 'kraut was ample and tasty. Onion rings were big and juicy (order 'em well done). Chopped liver platter was fresh and plentiful. Breakfast omelets were hot and presented nicely. French toast was good, if not a little dry. On the way out, I bought a quart of wonderful mushroom barley soup and a fabulous just-out-of-the-oven rye bread for eleven bucks! And worth every penny,

Decent. Chips are fantastic. Bathrooms clean with a pleasant scent of bleach. We ordered the Turkey triple decker on white. Bread was decent, presentation excellent, good bacon. The sandwich came undressed, so we used Mayo, salt, pepper. The Turkey was notably dry.

Indeed a NY deli in Potomac MD! Truly enjoyed my first experience. Reuben Fries are brilliant and the portion is extremely generous! The steak fries make the recipe better than any other stuffed fries. Indeed their corned beef melts in your mouth! The Crab pretzel is probably better dining in but the recipe is amazing. Can’t wait to try this establishment again & again! :)

Fabulous corned been and pastrami sandwiches in all sizes with delicious additions (melted Swiss, sauerkraut or Cole slaw and russian dressing) on grilled rye. Must return to try other great sounding menu items. My mouth waters just reading the menu!! Great service. Atmosphere of typical NY Jewish Deli’s. Love the free pickle bar!! Great potato chips served with sandwiches. So happy to have THE Attman’s from Baltimore’s Corned Beef Row here in Montgomery County. Can’t wait until next visit.

Jewish deli for Thanksgiving… absolutely!!! Amazing turkey for thanksgiving. Beautiful turkey cooked and carved with trimmings. Even reattached the skin so looked like a whole turkey, peeled back the skin to fine a perfectly carved turkey! Awesome food and gravy. Rave reviews from co-workers. We ordered mash potatoes too. All yummy. Turkey looked 5 star. Last year ordered a large sub sandwich and homemade chips for a surprise party. Delivery was on time and everyone asked where the food came from. Restaurant and take out always tasty and catering is the same… perfect and yummy. Highly recommend. .

We walked in and the place was packed. They did manage to seat us quickly. My wife ordered the Small Tuna sandwich and it was enormous. She barely ate half. They made me an off menu Reuben Omelette with coleslaw and I loved it. I could only eat half so I took it home and had it for 2 more meals. Our server was excellent, the decor was perfect old world deli. Prices were fair. It’s definitely worth a visit.

This place is hands down my favorite deli. You can't beat the price for the quality of food and authentic taste. Definitely takes me back to my childhood. You gotta try the deli, all the salads and meats you can think of. And their double chocolate cake is a slice of heaven. Best chicken noodle and matzo balls I've had in a long time.

From top to bottom of the menu this place is great. Congressional combo beats every deal in town with the best French toast. The corned beef is first rate. We never miss a chance to meet up with friends there.

The 4+ star rating is accurate, but the *Attman’s Trio* is exceptional, rating a strong and enthusiastic ⭐️5 STARS⭐️ The Attman’s Trio, meant for sharing by two people, is smoked fish Nirvana. The platter contains Nova lox, a choice of smoked whitefish or whitefish salad, and a choice of kippered salmon or sable (the sable is $4 extra.) The fish is accompanied by your choice of bagel (toasted accurately to your specifications!), your choice of cream cheese (plain, low fat, scallion or veggie), your choice of sliced cheese (Havarti, Swiss or Muenster), olives and sliced tomato, cucumber and Bermuda onion. This is without doubt the best smoked fish platter that I’ve eaten in the DC area, and satisfies all of my pent-up cravings for the lox and whitefish I enjoyed growing up. Portions are generous: with the addition of 2 more bagels with cream cheese, we took home enough for another lunch. And if you’re not counting calories, try a slice of Smith Island cake for dessert. Thanks to Attman’s for a fantastic meal. Can’t wait until the next occasion!
