Tantalizing menu and awesome wine list - I had Anatra (duck confit w/ fig ravioli, w a honey sauce (a touch of truffle); my husband had the Ravioli ala Aragosta (lobster ravs w/ lots of local lobster placed between the ravs w/ a tomato cream sauce), a bottle of Silvio Nardi Tenute Rosso di Montalcino, a divine bread pudding for dessert w two double espressos each - - a 3 1/2 hour dinner that easily could have swung over to four! Over the top! Our server, Amanda, was knowledgeable, attentive and discreet. Perfect event!
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here tonight and it was fabulous! We arrived early and had the back room of the restaurant to ourselves. We loved the ambience of the room and the friendliness of all of the staff that we encountered. Our server Heather was attentive, friendly, and gave us excellent recommendations. She easily sold us on two of the specials - Burrata imported from Italy and homemade Cheese Tortellini with Mushrooms and a cream sauce. Both dishes were absolutely phenomenal - some of the best food I've ever had. My wife ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana and it was incredibly delicious as well. The dessert menu looked scrumptious but both of us could not fit another bite. The prices are a bit higher than what we are generally used to but we would definitely come back for other special occasions. If you're looking for great Southern Italian food in the Providence area, don't hesitate to give Pane E Vino a try.
Couldn't say enough good things about this restaurant. The bread was great, the drinks were great (best old fashioned I've ever had), the calamari was great, the gnocchi was amazing, the shrimp risotto was amazing, the bread pudding was out of this world, the service was second to none. I've lived on federal hill for 5 years, I've had plenty of Italian food in my life being from a very Italian family. This is by far the best restaurant I've ever been to. I couldn't recommend this restaurant more.
