Gorgeous restaurant, the two floors are very different from each other: festive and fun upstairs, intimate and elegant downstairs. Love the old school bar on the first floor. The host and servers were absolutely amazing, professional and friendly, they did anything to make us super comfortable, they never rushed us, it was genuinely a pleasant dinner and evening.
Very elaborate cocktail and wine selection, and the menu is really adventurous and interesting. I’ll be honest, we weren’t fans of the starters, the broth for the dumplings and the mussels were both a bit too salty and the butter for the breadsticks too hard and not really spreadable, but the entrees were phenomenal. The shaking beef and onions were cooked to perfection, the basmati rice was an excellent choice, but the real start was by far the Cornish hen; crunchy skin on the outside and juicy, flavorful meat on the inside, the mash was silky and smooth, and the butternut squash purée to die for.
Overall, a solid, very good restaurant and a beautiful place for a romantic date or a fun night out with friends.
I had the sirloin and it was delicious! I was there on a first date, and she left mid-dinner which was fine because I was able to try (and finish) her duck leg confit. I also ordered myself a slice of key lime pie and put it on her tab. Haven’t heard from her since so I guess she isn’t interested.
Anyhow, terrific meal(s)!
This was by far the most amazing dinner of our Provincetown trip. When doing my research The Mews came highly recommended and can say for certain it lived up to our expectations. The service was prompt, they meals were outstanding and the views were great. I will quote my partner in saying “that might be the best meal I’ve ever had.”
An amazing dinner! The maitre d made the meal possible by moving is downstairs with an ocean view and a quite table. Perfect service. Great food!
We were seated beach level dining table 15, which has a lovely view up close with sand and surf…just right there. The Caesar salad w/white anchovy fillets was super fresh and tasty. Lobster Risotto and Mews Lobster Vindaloo were both delicious. The Chickwich sandwich was good. We received attentive service start to finish. The Mews is a Ptown classic restaurant that still knows how to treat its guests right!
Ate here for dinner for our one night stay in Provincetown. It has views of the waterfront, but it was a little harder to see at night. The martinis we ordered were perfection and our server, Giuliana, was so sweet and provided excellent service and recommendations for our meal. We ordered the Arugula Salad, Lobster Dumplings, Chicken Vindaloo (because we love spicy), and Shaking Beef. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant and those dishes, especially if you’re craving something other than New England seafood.
Delicious seafood dishes with excellent service. The seating was a bit close and crowded but can be maneuvered. It’s a bit pricey but I can see why. The dishes were detailed to perfection. The staff is friendly and helpful. Overall I enjoyed my dinner a lot.
Simply some of the best food in Ptown. We came for our anniversary dinner and were impressed. We got the burrata and tangerines with infused lavender honey watercress which was out of this world. I got the organic rib eye steak (14 ounces) which was delicious. The fruit cobbler + icecream was perfectly done - not too sweet. And the key lime was a nice treat. Our waiter Gaetano was gracious, and made excellent recommendations for a wonderful meal. Thank you! We will be back 🤤
This cozy restaurant has left the best impression!!! Hospitable host (Steve) and what an outstanding bartender (Neil). Neil’s amazing service was unremarkable and with an amazing personality. He was kind and so sweet! I highly recommend this amazing place!. In addition to their delicious dishes and beautiful presentation of cocktails, we highly recommend to this restaurant to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.
My partner and I made a reservation here after a friend recommended the place when she was in PTown the previous weekend. We came hungry after exploring commercial street and we left FULL and happy! My partner ordered the Vietnamese shaken beef and she jokingly said “wow that was awful” as I looked at her empty plate. I ordered the tuna special and other than my small complaint of the mash potatoes being alittle bit on the denser side everything was great. We finished our meal with a fruit cobbler and a mocha dessert, both were fantastic!
