I'm a newbie to this place. However, I have a strong interest in both older established restaurants and pizza. I love visiting independent places with an open mind. Pizza was exceeding good - yeah, the basics, but, the basics done extremely well. I've never had the "bar-size" pizza, so, I had to get used to the slightly smaller size. It was well made up for in it's overall taste. Deceiving filling. This place seems to be firmly entrenched in the local community as witnessed by the family atmosphere I perceived immediately. It had extremely good vibes and presented a slightly simpler feel from another time. I've been to a lot of top pizza places around the country over the years. I have no problem saying that Lynwood would fit right in. Well done!
As a traditionalist, I'm not fond of the new POS system they've added. There was always something about the handwritten slip with your total on it that I will miss. But, the pies cannot be beat! We both had extra cheese, mine also had mushrooms, crusty and still gooey, with the right amount of cheese pulling after the bite. A small piece of heaven here on earth.
Always the best. Didn’t disappoint. Crazy seeing some of the same staff for 30 years. Randolph has a gem here, and it’ll always be home ❤️
