To say that we enjoyed our experience at Wasabi is an understatement. Due to the negative comments I have to admit that I was a bit apprehensive. Nevertheless, my husband and I were invited by friends who have became regulars and decided why not... So happy we did!
Upon entering we noticed that the atmosphere was casual and busy with a few large parties/families, but the waitresses were attentive to us and seated us within 5 min. Based on our friends recommendation, we all sat at the bar.
Luis was our Sushi chef/artist for the evening and he did not disappoint. He asked what our preferences were and within minutes had a roll that is on the menu called the Goofy. It was a great start. From there on he created menu items to our liking. Literally taking our palates through a journey of flavors. These photos do not do these creations justice.
Needless to say, we will be back ready for another great experience. Muchisimas Gracias!

Review: A good sushi place in South Reno. Everyone is doing what they can with COVID & this place is surviving. Reasonable prices & had no issues.
First time in. Ordered seafood ramen and it was very nice. Close to five stars, just needs that special touch to make it wonderful. But I can see they are trying and the whole place feels like it is ramping up to be something very special. I will point out the staff was truly amazing. So I will be back for a proper sushi meal in a month or so and I bet they will be five stars. I am looking forward to it.
