I am an inexperienced noodle bowl eater so the simplicity of this menu appealed to me greatly. It is easier to try new foods with less choices. Nice drinks too - I had the yuzu with vodka. Refreshing atmosphere... there is no cluttering of menus (it is written on the walls) and you seat yourself. Our waiter checked in regularly and was very friendly. You leave with a warm, full belly but not in one of those food comas from eating too much, which means you can take a nice walk down Cary St and enjoy the evening air. Our only complaint was a lack of heat - we like a significant amount of spicy with our food and this was a tad too bland for us.
Limited menu but helps make up your mind pretty quick. The ramen was good. Noodles were how Inlike them. The egg just melted into the broth which was awesome and the sides were not over the top. The pieces of pork were thick and good. I got the spicy shot which definitely made it have a kick. Id stop by again.
The food here is absolutely delicious. We ordered Bao, apasrted pickles, and Tonkotsu ramen. EVERYTHING was delicious. Our waiter was kind, funny, and attentive, and the atmosphere was very chill with music at just the right volume to hear it and not have to shout at your dining partner. I highly recommend visiting (and ordering a Hakuna Matchata)!
I added a photo of the ramen that I ordered. Unfortunately, this was after 20 or so minutes of working through it, but it was a HUGE bowl of super delicious ramen!
