Fantastic food and friendly service at this small bistro on a quiet residential street. Easy parking out front and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the weather. Prices are quite reasonable and the menu has a whole vegetarian section. The key lime pie was the best I've ever had, and the portion was more than generous. What a local gem!

You want to order this cake. I chose this bakery sight unseen and without a taste test. I ordered a sheet cake in Lemon Chiffon on a Tuesday and it was ready on Friday. The zest in the lemon is perfect. The cake is fluffy. The icing is creamy. It definitely will feed the amount of people suggested and the price is by far better than any other bakery in Roanoke. I’ve tried cakes and cupcakes throughout the town and THIS PLACE beats them ALL. Everyone of the party attendees asked for the name and phone number of this place. It’s absolutely phenomenal.

EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Whenever we go to Roanoke , we never miss a trip to this delightful neighborhood bakery/cafe on 4th St. The coconut cake is worth every mile of the 140 we drive to get there. Everything else is wonderful as well, but my focus has always been the coconut 🥥 cake.
