We stopped here for lunch during Eclipse 2017 and boy did we have a wonderful experience. The family that runs the place could not have been nicer. They were absolutely wonderful and the food was solid. No hipster tacos here. Real Mexican. Our tacos were so big, we could not finish them. The special guacamole was delicious as was the house made hot sauce for chips. La Casita is absolutely fantastic.

I'm going to leave this review before I even get the bill because it's so AMAZING. My wife and I have been to many Mexican restaurants allover NC and THIS IS THE BEST. Great service, great food, great town. I'm in heaven.....

Staff was wonderful, friendly, and helpful with their great recommendations. Best mole ever Ask about the Mexican drinks! Yummy! My husband loved his torte Cubana! Oh and clean bathrooms also.
