There was plenty of outdoor seating and there are dine-in options (and take out) available now. The menu has a vegan/vegetarian section with lots on it. We asked what was recommended and Mike suggested the veggie platter. It was great and came with plenty of bread. The food was a lot so we got leftovers to go. Mike suggested cooking them up like scrambled eggs in the morning which we are definitely going to try. He super nice was the best part of the restaurant.
I wanted to take a better photo but my friends already dug all in it by the time i got to the table. What an experience! Let's start off by saying the owner was such a sweet man! Even if i didn't like the food (not the case but we'll get to that soon.) I would come just to sit and hang out with him. As for the food, when I tell you I've never had my mouth explode with so many different herbs and spices and flavors all at once... and like it. This place did it for me. It's clean, decorative, i didn't go to the bathroom so i can't speak on the upkeep of that, food was great. Will be back soon. Keep this place in business! đź‘Źđź‘Źđź‘Ź
The food is amazing but Mike is truly the star of the show. He loves his sports lol. Great flavors and a family environment.
Food is always amazing. You can tell the owner takes pride in his food and in service. He is always so polite and makes you feel welcome.
This place is so delicious! I saw them on Instagram and decided to treat my girls to lunch here. It was well worth the drive from the pocket area. They have an outdoor seating are that’s is quiet and allows for a peaceful dining experience. The older gentleman serving us was so sweet and made our experience all that much greater! We will definitely be coming back!
First time eating Ethiopian food and truly enjoyed new tastes. The bread is a whole new experience, but quite delightful. Very nice, clean and quiet atmosphere; romantic. Owner is very friendly, pleasant and willing to provide best authentic dishes. My hubby and I will go again to try other dishes.
First time trying Ethiopian food...loved the atmosphere. Our host was absolutely charming! We received a history lesson with our meal...at my daughter's request. Mike, the owner was kind enough to oblige. My family enjoyed the food and the cultural experience. We plan to return...spread the joy with others.
First off, the owners are really nice and the food was pretty good. I haven't had ethiopian cusine before, so this was a new experience. The food was delicious, and the bread isn't really the type that my taste buds like. I would go and try it again tho, but this time I will try something else in the menu.
We are so happy we tried Habesha! There are a great number of vegan options available, and the lentil samosas are the best samosas I've ever had. We had the vegetable combo platter for 2 and some of the Ethiopian beers (they also have a great selection of these). The owner Mike was really nice and was a great host. We are already looking forward to the next time we eat there!
Ever since a friend introduced me to this amazing restaurant a few months ago, i, In turn have introduced it to several other friends.
Each one LOVES the food! Literally once the food arrives, they alternate taking bites and exclaiming just how amazing the food is: amazingly flavored - with each item unique and superbly spiced.
I’m vegetarian and there’s plenty to choose from. So far everyone I’ve taken here has ordered different meat dishes and loved each one.
I highly recommend this restaurant! Plus the owner, Mike is insanely smart, funny and truly one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet.
It’s kind of hidden in the back left of a shopping center - just turn in at McDonald’s and go to the far back. You won’t regret it.
