Stopped by for an early dinner during the home opener. The restaurant is very spacious and has multiple dinning areas for parties or more intimate meals. They have a large patio with tables, couches, and a fireplace. Lucas Park also has a large bar to dine and drink at.
The menu isn't the biggest but they make up for it with quality. From our appetizers to our meals everyone enjoyed the food and left full and happy. The smoked chicken meatballs and short rib sliders were great starters. The tenderloin was perfectly cooked & seasoned. The half chicken was juicy and tender.
The restaurant has a great open cozy atmosphere with lots of big windows for natural light and window seat cushioned with throw pillows. Service was just as good as the food and atmosphere, we will definitely return next time we are in town.
Loved it! Prices were good, food was delicious, atmosphere was relaxing, comfortable. Our server was an unhappy, uninterested person, but he was cordial and prompt...maybe his dog died?? We went during happy hour, 4-7 M-F, and got 3 different appetizers and each one was delicious!
The sugar and spice brined porkchop and the Caribbean Punch were amazing! My wife had the Salmon. The atmosphere and service were also great. Would definitely go back again!
