The place looked beautiful to start. You walk in and you see these beautiful chandeliers. Then you get sat and the dinning room is welcoming! Before you get up to go get your food, it looks like all 4 walls were lined with food (there were actually only 3). There are a lot of options to choose from and the food was good! When my girlfriend and I sat, we both went up because she didn't bring her purse in, so when we sat back down, the waiter, Norbu, arranged our drinks, silverwear, and straws to welcome us back to the table! Highly recommend!
Soooo much better than the north county location!! So clean, bright and spacious! Just walking in = WOW.
The Hibachi grill was SO CLEAN and it had actual steaks and chicken breasts, not that frozen shaved meat you’re used to seeing. Decent selection of sushi, and not that cream cheese, cucumber and fake crab stuff. Good selection of FRESH fruits, salads and desserts, plus a very clean chocolate fountain. They still have everything you’d expect on a Chinese Buffett with familiar and authentic ingredients, PLUS a small dim sum section.
Generally, we avoid buffets, but when choosing one, THIS is the one to go to. We will definitely be back and it is worth the drive for us!
We have eaten at Hokkaido Buffet & Grill multiple times, and the food has been really good every time. On Sunday they have all you can eat crab legs which are really good if you like crab legs. The price is higher on Sundays however.
