We celebrated our 34th Wedding anniversary!!! The food was delicious, atmosphere and musical selections wonderful!!! We were referred to this beautiful dining experience by my sorority sister SHRHO! (Carrolyn)!!!
On the second floor of the Missouri History Museum in Forest Park is the newly-opened Cafe St. Louis. The eating area offers a great view of the park with floor-to-ceiling glass windows which bathe the room in light. The cafe offers hot and cold sandwiches, wraps, soups and boxed salads plus some traditional St. Louis foods -- gooey butter cake, Ted Drewe's custard, Gus' pretzels and toasted ravioli. Prices are reasonable! Go tour an exhibit and then stop in for lunch!
Excellent service
Love the individual glass water bottles on the tables
The Sunday brunch has a new menu each week
This Sunday the fish was fried perfectly with a great batter to make a delicious crust
Ribs were special with the chef’s special touch
I don’t know where they purchased the waffles but they were delectable they are served with a sweet topping through the waffle. No need for syrup
The pasta is always tasty. My husband enjoyed the shrimp and grits
Get there early or definitely make a reservation. Can’t wait to go next Sunday
