Pig-N-Out is a great small town diner and that is the basis of my rating. The menu has a crazy amount of variety (burgers, fries, hot dogs and corndogs, fish, Tex-Mex, soup, salad, fish tacos, egg rolls, etc) and quirkiness (fried green beans, fried bologna "Okie" burger, 7 kinds of fries) as well as sundaes, dipped cones, and milk shakes. There is no indoor seating and no drive-through, so it's a drive-up experience after which you can have a seat at one of a dozen or so outdoor tables or wait in your car while your order is filled. I can't rave about the quality of the food but as a throwback diner, the experience can't be beat.
4 of 5 stars only after experiencing the model the next day. Ordered the Everyday Special, and it was quite good. No complaints regarding the quality of the food!
Right across the street from the airplane. Easy access from the Salina Lion's Club port.
Difficult to miss: pull over where you see all the cars and a red and yellow building.
**Looking at others' reviews, it's probably good I visited with a group of locals, and made no complaints.**
We thoroughly enjoy the ice creams and desserts, there is something for everyone. Be it the dipped cones or cups the hurricanes a good float a tasty limeade. One of the boys in particular likes the flavor bursts it is not only tasty (he shared) but very cool to look at. I have slowly been working my way through the menu. They have good solid burgers not phenomenal not bad just a good solid burgers. They have daily specials and I have had most of them the assortment of fried items is impressive. The salads are a good choice. It is however when you get a potato that has been loaded up when the mine shines I have now had all but one of them and enjoyed each and it was the first thing I recommended to someone as he stated he was hungry and this potato will really take care of that in a tasty way
