I was staying next door for work and was getting tired of hotel breakfast lol. This was probably one of the best burritos I’ve ever had 😭😭😭
Also earlier in the week I had the gyro plate. Definitely different gyro than any I’ve ever had haha - but I loved the flavor!

I ordered the ham sandwich with avocado, it had plenty of ham and avocado. It was delicious. The next day I needed to buy some cough drops and did not look forward to walking half a mile to the pharmacy. Somebody from the hotel recommended that I go there. They have a few over the counter medicines, a few groceries, liquor and the deli. This place is a great convenience if you are staying in a hotel close by.
A family owned grill for over 12 years now. JR’s Grill brings the family to work for the community. Thriving in its current location on 601 pacific highway, JR’s has opened a secondary location close by. The second location residing in the beautiful Embassy Suites Hotel that sits beside its original building. Which only adds to the family, adds to the community that surrounds them. A second location that close; well, that is something that tells you the community is grateful for them to be there.
Personally I visited this grill; at some points, three times a day. Perhaps it was for the food, or perhaps it was simply for the hospitality, the family and now friends that turn the wheels of commerce each day at this wonderful eatery.
If you are in need of a place with a great breakfast burrito, or a lunch spot with all the fixings, no matter what your pallet is saying to your hungry belly, you’ll find a home at JR’s grill. It’s great people, great food, and a great part of the community.
