Delicious. One of our top 2 favorite Chinese restaurants, now. The menu is huge and has more seafood and noodle options than the other Chinese restaurants that we have been to in town. If you love spicy Szechuan Chinese food, you’ll be happy. If you need something milder, they have lots of other options for you to try. The least impressive stuff was the items in their side item buffet in the front but I rarely like those anyway.

I just found out this Chinese Restaurant during we going to San Diego for the July 4Th fireworks. So many restaurants were closed earlier because of holidays. But it still was opening when we arrived around 7:40PM. I didn’t expect too much, but the food was so delicious and surprising me. The lady was very nice and give great recommendation. We have 4 people, ordered 5 dishes: Ma Po Tofu: Spicy and numb. Roasted Fish: a whole fish with fresh vegetables. Spicy Cold dish: you can choose any three different meat. ( we choose spicy beef, non spicy pork tongue, and pork ears) Shredded Pork: light spicy and sweet ( my favorite) Pork Hock soup with white bean. spent $108(Including tips) , very good price. Actually, they still have a lot of NON SPICY FOOD, if you cannot eat too Spicy, just tell them, they will give you good recommendations.

Spicy House lives up to its name! As a wimp when it comes to spice I was worry going in, but it was the perfect level. I had the Mapo tofu soup, I was sweating for sure, but the flavor was worth it. We also had soup dumplings, not pictured but also very tasty.

Spice House is our new favorite place in Clairemont, SD. It always has good service, friendly staff and delicious, fresh dumplings. The prices are the best in the area! The portions are large, not only for the food, but also for the drinks.

New experience for me, but visited this location with a food pro who ordered for the table and explained everything to us. If that person wasnt in the group, I don't think it would've been such a successful visit. The staff is inattentive and service was not very quick even before the restaurant got busy. However, the family style dishes were delicious, and it was a very enjoyable atmosphere in the building.

One of our favorite authentic Chinese food restaurants in San Diego. Affordable price and big serving ! Highly recommended Fried Sparerib W| Hot Pepper辣子排骨 and cold dishes. I like that they always gave you free hot tea when you sit down.

Spicy House is easily the best Chinese restaurant I've been to in San Diego. It keeps me coming back due to an incredibly friendly staff, outstanding food, and an addictive szechuan flair that is simply unmatched in neighboring restaurants. I've yet to try a dish that doesn't leave me impressed.

fried chicken cube with hot pepper is excellent! Chicken is lightly fried (not oily) and served with heap of red peppers. The portion is very generous. Twice cooked pork with garlic sprouts is good too. Don’t forget order rice as these dishes didn’t come with rice. Dry pod chicken was good with generous portions. Its spiciness is a tad hotter than I prefer. I didn't enjoy streamed pork ribs with broken rice. I'm not sure about this dish. While it may have fans but not I.

Delicious! Really good food. The amount of food of each plate was super abundant and at a very good price. The service was fine. We just felt that they wanted us to go fast. The place was not full, and we received the check while we were still eating . Also, they asked to clean the table super fast, and I would understand if the restaurant were full, but it was probably half full or less. In general we had a good time and the food was amazing so I do recommend and I'll go back.
