Delicious. One of our top 2 favorite Chinese restaurants, now. The menu is huge and has more seafood and noodle options than the other Chinese restaurants that we have been to in town. If you love spicy Szechuan Chinese food, you’ll be happy. If you need something milder, they have lots of other options for you to try. The least impressive stuff was the items in their side item buffet in the front but I rarely like those anyway.
I just found out this Chinese Restaurant during we going to San Diego for the July 4Th fireworks. So many restaurants were closed earlier because of holidays. But it still was opening when we arrived around 7:40PM.
I didn’t expect too much, but the food was so delicious and surprising me. The lady was very nice and give great recommendation.
We have 4 people, ordered 5 dishes:
Ma Po Tofu: Spicy and numb.
Roasted Fish: a whole fish with fresh vegetables. Spicy
Cold dish: you can choose any three different meat. ( we choose spicy beef, non spicy pork tongue, and pork ears)
Shredded Pork: light spicy and sweet ( my favorite)
Pork Hock soup with white bean.
spent $108(Including tips) , very good price.
Actually, they still have a lot of NON SPICY FOOD, if you cannot eat too Spicy, just tell them, they will give you good recommendations.
Spicy House lives up to its name! As a wimp when it comes to spice I was worry going in, but it was the perfect level. I had the Mapo tofu soup, I was sweating for sure, but the flavor was worth it. We also had soup dumplings, not pictured but also very tasty.
