Went in at 8:15am. Gotten large Pho Tai. Friendly service and food was served fast. Was able to eat and be out in 30 min. It was decent but little on oily side.
It was a bit of a drive but I heard the pho is amazing so I went for it. It was actually pretty good. They serve bread with the pho, which was a new experience for me but worked pretty well. Kind of overdoing it with the carbs, but dipping bread in soup is always satisfying. Service was not extraordinary- never usually is at pho restaurants. But the pho was indeed tasty.
I've never been to Vietnam (but I'd like to experience it one day), but from my Vietnamese friends suggestions I'd say place is legit. There a a handful of Pho places in Mira Mesa, but this is #1 hands down. To be able to tell, you have to have had your share of Pho/Vietnamese food.
I always enjoy their Vermicelli bowls, Broken Rice noodles, Lettuce wrapped Eggrolls, and of course bowls of Pho. Portions have always been gracious, and the food comes out faster than some fast food joints. I'd take pho over chicken soup over any rainy day.
