Cute little cafe close to the beach. Coffee is okay, a bit too burnt for us. OJ isn’t too sweet or too tangy, it’s not my personal favorite but it’s good enough. We ordered the flapjacks, Benedict sauce, veggie omelette, and a side of eggs with avocado. The veggies themselves were fresh, so were the eggs. We enjoyed the flapjacks also, very fluffy and vanilla-y. The syrup was perfect. The house potatoes are crispy and while they lack flavor from spices, I assume it’s because ketchup and hot sauce do it. Which is cool with me because I love ketchup, but it would be nice to eat a potato with more spice based flavor if that makes sense. The omelette was pretty disappointing. The veggies were cooked separately which was odd, and they were quite watery. There wasn’t even any cheese in it to hold it together. I was disappointed with it, and think they could really make the veggie omelette something scrumptious if they reworked it.
Service was definitely great. We were brought sauces, spices, jams, and sugar for coffee almost immediately and our server was quick to answer questions and clear our plates.
We will be back, and will just stick to basics. I give it a 7/10 overall.
TLDR: portions are nice and big, quick and friendly service.
I ordered a BLT with avocado and it came with a side salad. Portion was a bit bigger than I would have imagined, very filling. The menu is pretty basic and the food isn’t fancy but it tastes just fine. Service was quick and efficient, order came out exactly at the time they said.
