I tried the blueberry scone and the lemon olee. So delicious!! The olee was unlike anything I have ever tried. So soft and the perfect sweetness level. The blueberry scone was very moist and packed full of blueberries!! 5 stars based on the food I tried, not going to deduct stars for service because I understand staffing issues are hard on small businesses. Service wasn’t the best, just a few things! There was a few of us waiting to be helped for several mins while the guy went to the bathroom (we found out where he was when he finally showed up) Totally fine just wish there was a sign at the register letting us know so that we weren’t confused and wondering what was going on. Also the shop was eerily quiet!!! Some nice music would really help the ambiance a bit:) Thanks again for yummy treats.
Skip the Pig n Pancake and come here instead. I read online someone said this was the best breakfast sandwich they'd ever had and wanted to see for myself. Well, it totally lived up to my expectations. Fresh scratch made biscuit, delicious sauce, crispy flavorful bacon, perfectly cooked egg and yummy melted cheddar. Soooo amazing. I wish I could have another one, it was the perfect breakfast sandwich but I'm all the way in WA. If I ever go to Seaside again I'll be stopping here. I do wish I could have tried the cheddar biscuit but they were out, regardless the regular biscuit was fabulous.
We stopped in at Dough Dough Bakery this morning and boy am I glad we did. I’ve been surfing nearby for years and can’t believe I haven’t checked this place out already. Located a few streets back from the 101, the bakery is in a great little pocket that’s tucked away from the traffic but still has good parking options and a nice selection of nearby storefronts to check out while you’re there. Dough Doughs is a large space with ample seating, high ceilings, and connects to the bookstore next door (great to keep you busy while you wait). The guy behind the counter was super welcoming and incredibly accommodating, offering order substitutes (I went for cheddar over Brie in my breakfast biscuit) and offered me a taste of the local kombucha they had just put on tap. The biscuit was phenomenal- flakey, steaming warm, great size, and very tasty. We also got a coffee, peach kombucha, and Marion berry scone- all were fantastic. There are lots of books and knickknacks to keep you entertained while you enjoy your time in the bakery, and the eclectic range of seating options ensures that there’s something for everyone’s comfort preferences. To the side of one of the bakery cases there’s also a small pantry goods section with wares including canned goods, coffee from New Orlean’s famous “Cafe du Monde”, and more. I’d highly recommend this to anyone passing through Seaside and am excited to return soon!
