Unplanned dinner visit with no reservations on a Saturday evening and we managed to get a table for 5. It’s a happy feeling when that happens if you know what I mean :). We liked the ambience and the hostess was very warm. We started with Brussels sprouts, corn , chicken wings as appetizers and all the three dishes didn’t let us down. We ordered fried chicken- a disappointment. Unsure if this was chicken or quail. Tiny and no meat and wasn’t even visually appealing. Crab cakes were ok and was presented well. The pesto pasta was delicious with a side of grilled rosemary chicken and finally the gnocchi was the star dish for me personally as it was filled with flavors. My friends ordered beers and coke. It is a nice, cozy quiet place. Either for a Couple or a group it works well in my opinion ! If you happened to go, enjoy.
This place is AWESOME!!!! The wings to start were very tasty and flavor forward - I thoroughly enjoyed them! The clam linguine was BOMB and glad my friend snagged the last order - score one for the Seattle visitor! The Lobstahh roll was money, glad i snagged a bite but interested in comparing to Bar Harbor (heard they have the best in town!!). But the Brussels were the best thing of the night (even better than the booze!) - these things were heavenly and the glaze was phenomenal.
One of Seattle's great brunch stops. Only wonderful service and luscious food. Had the Shakshuka and mimosas - was gifted a coffee cake by the restaurant. Will miss the original Thackeray but excited for their new chapter (and wood fired pizza) - bring the swing back! I love the natural lighting of this building, a Fremont gem.
