My friend used to work here so I wanted to try it. The owner, Pam, was super nice and happy to chat when I got there (see our selfie). And the food!! I never had Caribbean before, but after this it is one of my favorite cuisines 🤩 I ate the jerk chicken sandwich on coconut fried bread, with cassava pone cake for dessert. The spices of the jerk chicken were incredible. It was not just "hot" spicy, but also warm like cinnamon and wonderfully rich. This was such a treat and I just hope more folks will come by to enjoy it 🤍
Authentic Caribbean food with really great service.
We got the fresh Caribbean drinks coconut and rum based and really enjoyed it . We also got some entrees like sweet plantains, dal roti, jerk chicken and aloo patty.
All of it were really good and was brought out fresh .
Pam was really nice and warm to speak to . Highly recommend this place if you haven’t tried this cuisine and are open to try different flavors
Pam’s Kitchen is so iconically Caribbean from the food to the decor and the hospitality! Pam herself mentioned that the restaurant has made lists for one of the best Caribbean spots on the US! The staff are also so friendly, don’t be afraid to strike up a conversation on what their recommendations are.
I haven’t adventured too much into Caribbean food because I usually end up sticking with jerk chicken, so hard to resist, but I was introduced to Pelau here and it was amazing! Everything that came out from the kitchen was delicious. I also always have to have at least 1 side of plantains when it comes to Caribbean food. Didn’t have drinks tonight but they did look very great, so an excuse to come back again!
Once a month I believe they have live music and I think it would be so nice to experience that! The stage looks quite nice and fits so well with the restaurants flair, I’m sure it’s a great night out.
