La Rosa pizza in skokie is the best pizza in town.

4.5 to be more accurate. This place is fantastic and its been around for a long long time. If you ever set foot inside, you'll think you've gone back to the 80s. Their thin crust pizza is arguably the best thin crust within a 10 mile radius. That is definitely their specialty. But what I have been eating the last several times is their stuffed deep dish. I think it may have the zestiest marinara sauce I have ever had on a pizza. It's overwhelming, extremely robust and bursts in your mouth. My only gripe is that I wish they would butter their crusts and make it more crunchy. If that were to happen they would rival Lou Malnati's. But other than that, this is a great pizza joint.

I never review but WOW! The young man working the front was absolutely incredible. He was juggling phones, customers, and was even making the food..which came out incredible. Politest service, only downfall is no dine in.
