I live in California, I was traveling to Utah for a sporting event. Stopped by this Village Inn for breakfast. Ashley my waitress provided possibly the best service I've had a restaurant years. Honestly the service was so good, it made the food taste better. She was attentive but not overbearing, I never went a second without feeling taken care of. If we were in California I would are offered her a job at my business. I will come back and eat here again, just because the service was so fantastic.

I went on a weekday morning and we were able to get seated quickly. Food was good minus the multigrain pancakes which I was not a fan of, would have liked them more "done" but maybe thats just me. Our server was great, wish I could remember her name. They only had one person taking care of the bills and seating everyone, which may cause a delay in getting in or out when they get busy so hope they accommodate for that. Overall I think it was a more pleasurable experience then years ago when I went before, and if I ate out more often wouldn't hesitate to go again.

Free Pie day has been a tradition in our family for many, many years. Our parents are gone now but we still go to VI every Wednesday and we always request Sherri for our waitress. She's absolutely the best! She has made this tradition of ours so awesome and we've adopted her as a member of our family!! Love, love, love Sherri!

I am morally obligated to leave this review because our server Kelsie was SO amazing. She was so kind, helpful, friendly, and accommodating. She went above and beyond. Easily the best part. She is the gold star standard for excellence.

The staff here are friendly and good vibes all the way around. If you want a spot to have breakfast in a friendly environment then you should come here. If you are looking for a place that has adequate to delicious food this is not the place for you. The ā€œchicken fried steakā€ is nothing more than a frozen, deep fried, giant, genetically modified, chicken nugget. On the outside it resembles food. On the inside itā€™s more reminiscent of a torn up, dirty, beauty blender. (See pics) the hash-browns are a crispy golden color on the outside. Under that top layer is flavorless, mushy potato shreds. The pancakes are fluffy and adequate. Nothing special but also nothing wrong with them. The eggs lack flavor. Put some old bay on them corporate! The cool cooler them perfectly but he or she canā€™t change the recipe! Do better. The pie is mushy on the inside and entirely too sweet. The crust is good! Itā€™s flaky, tasty, and visually appealing. The coffee is hot and plentiful but not good. If you want a lot of food to just get full and want to sit down this is the place for you.

I don't normally rate chain restaurants but the service here today at The District location in South Jordan was awesome. We had a group of close to 40 and they handled it so well and were so friendly even with all the special requests!

The Village Inn is a great old school, middle America, breakfast all day restaurant that my wife discovered with some of her lady friends. She likes it so much that she insisted that I take her there for brunch. Iā€™m sold! I love their chicken fried steak, hash browns & pancakes. Yeahā€¦ I know, ā€œHealth Foodā€! But I love it now & then. Every waitress weā€™ve ever had has been very nice and stops by the table to ask if we need anything and how do we like our meals. Give them a try! Reminds me of Dennyā€™s when I was younger, only better!

Amazing experience, especially for a chain restaurant. The food was great as well as staff. Amanda, cori, as well and Miguel were all very helpful, and Amanda was an incredibly sweet person and made a very impactful experience out of what would have otherwise been a normal breakfast.

See Iā€™m on slow journey to discover the best French Toast. Iā€™ve only been a couple places so far, but can tell the competition is going to be tough. So far this is how I see it for the best French Toast: 1. Belgian Waffle and Omelet Inn 2. Village Inn 3. IHOP Taylor was our server and on point. Shout out to Taylor. The establishment was nice and neat. Also not to busy on a Friday morning. Coffee was decent and thatā€™s another Iā€™m on the search for. One thing at a time though.

I ordered over a hundred pies for a client event. The South Jordan store made my pie pickup stress free. The manager Ryan and his staff Hunter and Kaycie were organized, helpful, and Delightful to work with. They even helped carry all the pies out to the car. I will definitely use them again.
