I live in California, I was traveling to Utah for a sporting event. Stopped by this Village Inn for breakfast. Ashley my waitress provided possibly the best service I've had a restaurant years. Honestly the service was so good, it made the food taste better. She was attentive but not overbearing, I never went a second without feeling taken care of. If we were in California I would are offered her a job at my business. I will come back and eat here again, just because the service was so fantastic.
I went on a weekday morning and we were able to get seated quickly. Food was good minus the multigrain pancakes which I was not a fan of, would have liked them more "done" but maybe thats just me.
Our server was great, wish I could remember her name. They only had one person taking care of the bills and seating everyone, which may cause a delay in getting in or out when they get busy so hope they accommodate for that.
Overall I think it was a more pleasurable experience then years ago when I went before, and if I ate out more often wouldn't hesitate to go again.
Free Pie day has been a tradition in our family for many, many years. Our parents are gone now but we still go to VI every Wednesday and we always request Sherri for our waitress. She's absolutely the best! She has made this tradition of ours so awesome and we've adopted her as a member of our family!! Love, love, love Sherri!
