The Cuban, the Fat Back, and the Bacon Grilled Cheeseburger. Very, very good food! House made chips, beer battered onion rings, waffle fries. Local owned, many revolving beer selections, and I'll be sure to visit again when I'm back in Florida!
Good Grill, So-So Bar
The Burg Bar & Grill is a small storefront on Central Ave. Inside is a bar and a few small tables. More tables—actually a majority of the tables—are outside on the wide sidewalk. It was a beautiful day to eat dinner outside. The servers were very friendly and helpful.
I have a bit of a problem calling this a “Bar”. There is only some beer and wine options and no hard liquor. That does not a bar make, to me. And the Saturday sangria special was pretty weak.
The grill part was much more successful. Two of us had burgers and they were really good with all high-quality contents. The accompanying fries were also home-cut and delicious. The star of it all was the mahi-mahi sandwich. It was really delicious.
I would definitely go back—especially for that mahi-mahi sandwich.
Simply awesome! This Greek owned restaurant/bar is quaint but has a lot to offer, a large variety of beers and tantalising food!
I got the 'award winning' gyro burger that had slab of feta cheese which really stood out for me, I can see why it won at award of some sort. The fries had the skin on, the best way to have them. Each bite of the burger was like an explosion of awesomeness.
The wife went for her favourite, bbq wings with range dressing. Now I have to say, it was my first time having range dressing and it was amazing! I dipped my fires in there, amazing. I dipped my burger in there, amazing. I even dipped in my finger and it was amazing!
The decor has a bar feel to it. The tables are decked with the usual sauces and a roll of kitchen towels which was a winner based on how messy it might get.
Overall I enjoyed the food and the ambience of restaurant. A definite recommendation.
