It was my first time trying this place out. The waitress was very nice and tentative. My mom and I went to try their "Tea for Two" option on the menu. It comes with a pot of tea (about 6 tea cups worth), 2 egg salad halves, 2 pimento cheese halves, 2 cucumber sandwiches, 2 tuna salad cups, and 2 chicken salad sandwiches. The portion are dainty but very filling. It also came with 4 cranberry scones with lemon curd and clotted cream. Finished with a dessert to share. We had a fun time and will definitely go back again!
The tea options used to be much more extensive than they are now. The food is not vegetarian friendly if you do not want something sweet! Workers are nice.
I have visited this tea room often. When you want a nice quite place to have tea, lunch, and be able to engage in conversation with others, this is probably the only place in Sugar Land to go! I recently had a lovely lunch there with a group of 7 ladies. We never felt rushed and those if us who ordered a pot of tea ( individually ) were able to sit and sip our tea. The menu is light lunch fare, tasty chicken salad, and sandwiches were huge. I haven't had desserts as yet.... No room. Scones, creme fraiche, & lemon curd very good. Wish the scones were larger! My fav is the Chia Tea. Nice menu for the young girls.... PB&J.... for mommies who'd like to take their little princess for lunch. Bonnets provided!
