My son recommended this restaurant to us and we are glad we tried it. Some of the items are on the expensive side, but we really enjoyed the food and they do serve very large portions. We paid approximately $40 for three of us to eat. The food is packed with flavor and the staff was friendly. This is not a full service restaurant with wait staff. There is dine in seating, but it is a walk up and order counter. They bring the food to you, but it is not waited on service. My husband ordered an enchilada style bean burrito and I ordered the shredded beef taco and side of rice. No complaints here. We recommend giving it a try and will return ourselves.

Great food, friendly staff & comfortable seating. Simple - order first, find a seat & eat type place. No frills, yet delicious shredded beef tacos, green chili, refried beans, chips n salsa, burritos, chimichangas and of course the red sauce smothered on top. 💯 Tastes just like the original location on Garfield.
This is a review of the last 2 times we've been here, though apparently I didn't take pictures from both.
Overall, my husband Loves this place...mainly because of the beans that are cooked with lard.
I like the food too but the service can be a bit slow. It definitely was tonight! The chips tasted like they had expired though we didn't notice till the end when our bowl of beans was gone. Great combo and probably better with fresh chips.
This will remain a place we visit when in Surprise. :-)
