A small family owned and run restaurant with a LOT of taste! If you have the pleasure of speaking with the owner, he has a humble charm and sincerity that is infectious. Before serving the entrée, the waitress offered table-side hand washing because I ordered a dish that foregoes using utensils, which is an African tradition. I had the beef ribs, with sides of basmati rice and kidney beans - all sauced with East and Central African spices. What they lack in fancy decor is more than well made up by the delicious food coming out of their kitchen. The cook even stopped by our table afterward, to ensure everything went well with our meal. The final bill for my wife and I was only $35 plus tip - incredible! I took my brother last night and he loved it. Needless to say, we will be returning patrons. Waste no more time reading reviews and just go in and try the place for yourself.
The food was delicious and unique. What a great thing to have in Syracuse. Highly recommend the tilapia with tomato sauce and goat curry. The plantains and spicy sauce was incredible!!
