Have not had French food in a long time, and this place didn't disappoint. The place is charming, great bistro type music playing, waiter was attentive and even seemed happy to learn we were there for a French assignment. Loved that we got to have time between courses, and everything was cooked great, not a bunch of grease even on my fried food. Again, I would recommend this place!!!
The best, most flavorful French Onion Soup I have had in my life. Perfect start to our meal on a cold evening. I had the boeuf bourguignon served with delicately prepared vegetables, spaetzle and a red cabbage side dish, my husband had a chef's special dish of Mussels in a garlicky wine sauce served with a side dish of seasonal mixed vegetables. He just loved his choice! As it was our anniversary, we indulged in desserts. I had a fruit tart that seemed like clafoutis, with blackberries and a bit of cream, husband indulged in a lovely chocolate mousse, topped with Godiva chocolate, cream and berries. The beer my husband had was from Alsace, Kronenbourg 1664, he's not usually a lager fan but thought highly of this one, bright flavor that went well with his shellfish. I had a by the glass Bordeaux, very smooth. The Chef was very attentive with his customers, a nice touch. Will return. Highly recommend.
Absolutely fabulous! This is a hidden gem! The best French onion soup I have ever had. The stock was very herbaceous and flavorful. My seafood penne pasta was loaded with seafood and the sauce was delicious. My son's had the chicken cordon bleu and wienerschnitzel, both were wonderful! The chef was very nice, he came out and spoke with us. Our waitress/server was friendly and fast.
