Highly original and delicious specialty pizzas. I personally recommend the Cherry Bomb, that damn thing blew my dumb cracker mind. My tongue had a form of flavor orgasm which sent my eyes rolling back into their sockets which startled my friends, who thought I was having a stroke. But no, it was my bodies reaction to absolute pizza nirvana. For days now, I have had recurring dreams of this pizza. Dreams where I am slowly pulling a single slice away from the pie itself, the cheese stretching away from it's home in the pie as I steadily move the slice towards my gaping , drooling, food chute. As soon as my teeth sink into the slice I wake up, tears rolling down my cheeks as I long for my next encounter with this marvelous pizza. Typically, when Midtown Pies is closed, I will head over with my ghetto blaster and hold it over my head as I pump out love songs in honor of Cherry Bomb. I usually start out with the obligatory Peter Gabriel stuff, then possibly something by The Delfonics and finish off with some Marvin Gaye or Sade. My love affair with Cherry Bomb continues. I highly recommend you check Midtown pies out.
