I love Tasty Roots! They make my favorite veggie burger. High quality organic meals freshly prepared that I can trust are good for me. The owner is very kind and knowledgeable. If you haven't tried it I highly recommend it. I eat plant based and there are many options along with delicious desserts and snacks!
So convenient, reasonably priced and DELICIOUS! I don't have time to cook and am so grateful to have found Tasty Roots! I really appreciate being able to get only the ingredients I want. (I'm gluten-free, dairy-free, etc.) And even with the semi-limited list of ingredients for me, they always have a good variety of meals for me with delicious sauces, too!
I don't eat grains so she I saw they made their “zoodles" with zucchini I rushed over. I thought it was going to be a sit down place but was surprised to see that this is a “grab n go" fast causal pick up spot. What the Harvard marketing dept calls “at home meal replacement." What a welcome idea on Davis Island. I am always rushing to the dog beach and desperate for something quick to pick up that I can put in my cooler bag and get over there. They also have Pops that are dairy free. It looks like they avoid refined sugar but use maple syrup so if you are avoiding sucrose and fructose altogether be mindful. It is a very we and inviting place with a microwave and some picnic tables outside. But still this is best on the go coming home from work, back from gym, picking up kids. Excellent substitute for those worn out on rice and beans from burrito joints.
