Amazing food, and great service!
Came here before seeing a show at ASU Gammage, and will definitely come back, again!
Try the Gocce Beet and Goat Cheese. You will not be disappointed!
The bread is savory and chewy, yet light and soft. SO GOOD!
The Braised Short Rib ravioli was PERFECT! Tender and full of flavor.
Do I know how to pronounce this restaurant's name? Absolutely not.
Do I know it's fabulous? Heck yes!
I came for good Italian food and was not disappointed! In fact, this place really exceeded my expectations! I've passed this spot on Mill dozens of times and finally went.
It's got the perfect atmosphere - quaint and sweet, the interior is the *perfect* spot for date night! I loved the decor and was enthralled with the service. Wine was excellent and the food was better than my usual place for Italian in Tempe/Scottsdale.
I got the spaghetti (amazing, the meat was sooo good) and my significant other got the alfredo. Both were wonderful! I'm a big eater and the serving was enough to fill me up and take leftovers home.
Wine choices are equally satisfying. Get the one from Wilcox! It's the best. You'll leave cheery and full of good food!
Update! I went back and had the sirloin/risotto - AMAZING!!! The steak was beautifully seared with a perfect crust; it was better than any steakhouse sirloin I've had. Also, the minestrone soup was lovely. I usually don't enjoy minestrone but this stuff was great!
Valentine's Day night was actually slow here. Came as a family of 3. Bread comes at the beginning of the meal and is very tasty, sodt pretzel-esque. We ordered the mozzarella sticks which were fresh with tasty marinara sauce.
I ordered the squash ravioli. It was definitely tasty and the butter sauce was nice, but you only get 5 raviolis for $16 so not the most filling if you're pretty hungry.
My boyfriend got a pepperoni pizza and our daughter got a kids cheese pizza. Both were handmade, placed on a wooden pizza paddle, and brick oven cooked. My boyfriend's had a small "toothpick" on top when he bit into his pizza. The staff was very nice about it, apologized, and saw the tiny missing piece in the paddle which they threw out. Thank goodness it was a small piece and we aren't the type to raise much of a fit since no one was hurt and it was a rare occurrence.
